English actor, Orlando Bloom, paid $7 million for a modern, minimalist estate in Beverly Hills, Variety reported.
Originally offered for $11,995,000, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, designed by Mexican architect Miguel Angel Aragonés, features 4,009 square feet of seamless indoor-outdoor living space. The price of the estate dropped closer to $8 million, before Bloom sealed the deal.
Privately situated in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood, the residence, boasting city and ocean views, features a state-of-the-art lighting system, which is Aragonés’ signature, according to the property website. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass panels open to a wraparound deck, a resort-style pool, and an outdoor shower.
Bloom sold his three-bedroom Tribeca aparment at 155 Franklin St. for $5.5 million in 2015.
The listing at 1106 N. Hillcrest Road was held by Fred J. Bernstein and Ethan Peskowitz of Westside Estate Agency.
