Zynga head Mark Pincus has dipped into the California real estate market with the purchase of a $16 million estate along San Francisco's "Gold Coast" section.

Zynga is the company behind social media games like FarmVille and Hidden Chronicles.

Pincus's new home is four stories and 11,500 square feet. It features panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The home also includes an elevator and six fireplaces.

The 100 year-old home was sold as part of an estate sale earlier this year. The home had only one owning family since its construction in 1907.
