Other pricey buys at 432 Park Ave., which was developed by Macklowe Properties TRData LogoTINY and CIM Group, include Unit 88, purchased in 2016 for $60.89 million by Lew Sanders, the former CEO of asset manager AllianceBernstein; and Unit 79, bought for $59.1 million by 432 Crotona Park Avenue LLC, a Los Angeles-based corporation.

In designing the building and its amenity spaces Viñoly, who based the concept for the property off a pricey trash can, used the finest building materials, including mahogany, hand-blown glass, marble, and travertine.
