The Shore Club Will Become the Country’s First Fasano Hotel

Shore Rendering Final South Balcony NO LOGO OR DISCLAIMER

It's been a while since the Shore Club property had some heat. That's about the change as Brasil's uber-luxury hotel brand, Fasano, takes over the property, preparing to create the Fasano Hotel + Residences at Shore Club. The hotel will bring the number of five-star hotels on Miami Beach to two, joining The Setai.

The project is being developed by HFZ Capital Group, who chose Fasano to operate the hotel. Fasano is Brazil's most important luxury brand when it comes to hospitality. Known for its five-star properties and gastronomic restaurants, everything Fasano does is the very best. The Fasano Hotel + Residences at Shore Club will be open sometime in 2017. Any way you cut it, that's at least a year and a half away, if not, more. They'll need the time for the complete transformation that is planned for the property, which boasts 100 hotel rooms and 75 condos. Award-winning Brazilian architect and designer Isay Weinfeld, who designed Fasano's Punta del Este and Boa Vista properties, will have the honor of creating a new look and feel in the historic hotel. But as you can see from the renderings, it's a whole new feel without forgetting the past. No wonder the City of Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board has already approved the architect's plans.

Pool Rendering

Fasano has many fans as they have leading hotels in Southern South America. In addition to the fabulous Fasano Rio de Janeiro, there is the Fasano Boa Vista, a countryside retreat just an hour’s drive from São Paulo, and Fasano Punta del Este in Uruguay. They've also got 15 restaurants of international acclaim, so it's not surprising that Fasano already has a lot of fans in Miami—especially of the celebrity ilk who have been frequenting the Rio and São Paulo properties for years.

One of the brand's hallmarks is "invisible service"—service that is so good, patrons don't even notice it. Hopefully they will be able to recreate that five-star level of service in Miami. We'll have to be patient to find out, but Fasano is not waiting around. They've already got planned projects in Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Trancoso in Brazil, and one in New York City coming up on the docket.
