Real estate developer Terra Group—the mastermind behind mega projects such as Grove at Grand Bay, Glass, and Park Grove—aims to exponentially elevate the stereotypical look of an exclusive suburban enclave with Botaniko Weston: a boutique collection of 125 single-family residences taking shape in Weston, Florida.
Designed by highly-acclaimed architects Chad Oppenheim—renowned for his sleek, sustainable creations—and award-winner Roney J. Mateu, the one- and two-bedroom homes will measure up to 7,200 square feet, with prices starting at $1.7 million.
“Botaniko Weston will offer a sophisticated collection of architecturally distinctive homes,” says president of Terra Group David Martin. “It will be a timelessly elegant gated community along the historic Florida everglades.”
Perhaps the development’s most unique offering is the fact that buyers will get to choose which architect’s configuration they would like to live in. “We created architecture that celebrates the tropical environment with homes that are truly crafted for indoor-outdoor living,” says Oppenheim, founder of Oppenheim Architecture + Design. “Light, water, and sky are as integral to the design as the rich materials used are.”
The modern abodes’ grand interiors will be outfitted by V Starr—a full-service design firm founded by tennis legend Venus Williams—while outer grounds will be dressed by Studio Jefrë, which specializes in creating environmental art and couture exteriors.
“By employing a minimalist vocabulary of modern forms, we let the tropical climate and landscape come to the foreground, with our buildings as a framework for the rituals of daily life,” says Mateu, head of Mateu Architecture.
Marked by crisp, rectangular silhouettes cloaked in white, each Botaniko Weston home—abound with floor-to-ceiling windows—will feature a suite of state-of-the-art appliances, not to mention an outdoor entertainment space, private pool, and summer kitchen—granting residents and their guests the ultimate luxury living experience.
