A Rare Scoop: A Mansion in Aspen’s Exclusive Starwood Area Hits the Market

Outdoor sport enthusiasts have the rare chance to snatch up a luxury home in Aspen's beautiful Starwood area, which remains the Colorado skiing hotspot's only gated neighborhood. Curbed has reported that a 13,500-square-foot mansion which boasts a two-acre estate has hit the market for $18.5 million. The seven-bedroom, seven- bathroom (and two half bathroom) property, which is also available for rent at $60,000 a month, is just ten minutes away from the slopes.

The beautiful grounds include a tennis court, an indoor swimming pool with views of the mountains, a jacuzzi, a weight room, a theater, a wine cellar, and 2,300-square-feet of decks and patios. The mansion itself is both sophisticated and welcoming; the perfect place to warm up after a day on the mountain. The open living area and bar feature vaulted ceilings, leading towards a custom dining room with unobstructed views, a newly remodeled kitchen, custom breakfast table and sitting area. Upstairs the master bedroom features his and her closets, while downstairs there is a gym and nanny's quarters.

Tracy and Bubba Eggleston of Sotheby's have the listing.
