Since 2005, Colin Jost, a Harvard alum, has been a writer for NBC's Emmy-winning late-night comedy showcase “Saturday Night Live.” In 2011, the Staten Island native purchased a bachelor pad in West Village, New York City for $1,776,750 which would eventually become his longtime residence. In the years following, the 39-year-old comedic star has become co-anchors on the “Weekend Update” segment with Michael Che. He is set to star in an upcoming wedding comedy, “Worst Man,” alongside fellow “SNL” cast member Pete Davidson. Last year, Jost married “Black Widow” actress Scarlett Johansson after being together since 2017. The celebrity couple recently welcomed a son. Reportedly, “SNL” head writer is ready to unveil a brand-new chapter of his life and bid farewell to his former West Village abode for $2.5 million.

Built in 1929, Jost’s former residence is a 1,400 square foot duplex in a six-unit co-op building dedicated to full time residents. Entering the home through the foyer, the living room highlights exposed brick walls and a wood-burning fireplace. The family room offers French doors leading onto a Juliet balcony overlooking a private patio garden. The charming space showcases vintage-inspired décor, such as a wheeled bar cart and velvet couch. Adjacent to the living and dining area, the windowed kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, yellow painted cabinets, and a tiled backsplash with intricate design.

Upstairs, the master bedroom suite features with an extravagant bathroom with rain shower, a walk-in closet, wall sconce lighting, wood beams, and tile flooring. The secondary bedroom includes a soaking tub opposite the bed, shuttered windows, a walk-in closet, and an enclosed bathroom. Stepping outside, the exterior space offers al fresco entertainment and is perfect for outdoor movie nights with a prewired projector screen. Additionally, the beloved West Village location is captivating and convenient for shopping, dining, and transit options.
