SLS Lux — SLS brand's latest luxury Miami development, currently under construction in the stylish downtown hub of Brickell — is sure to turn heads.
SLS Lux’s 57-story mixed-use tower — located across the street from the billion-dollar Brickell City Centre — promises to infuse even more luxury into a community already known for its vibrant culture, superbly lavish residences, and the finest in dining and entertainment.
Plans for the awe-inspiring modern structure, designed by Arquitectonica and Yabu Pushelberg, include 450 residences and 85 luxury suites, and the building will feature the first LED façade by prominent lighting artist Ana Martinez.
The new SLS Lux is anticipated to offer a myriad of amenities and services to satisfy a variety of needs. Residents and guests will be treated to a private rooftop pool terrace, tennis courts, fitness centers, an outdoor theater, private residential elevators, a wine cellar and cigar room, limousine services to a private beach club, and two ground-floor celebrity chef restaurants: Katsuya and SBar Lounge.
One of SLS Lux’s most eye-catching attributes is sure to be the museum-quality art peppered throughout the property, featuring works by Fernando Botero and Fabian Burgos. Earlier this year, Botero’s acclaimed $3 million Torso sculpture was moved to SLS Lux to be on permanent display while sales of the property are ongoing.
Leading global hospitality and real estate development company sbe is behind SLS Lux, which the company regards as an “elevated” version of its award-winning SLS Hotels and Residences. SLS Lux Brickell is the result of a collaboration between sbe, The Related Group, and the Alan Morris Company, following the success of the SLS Brickell Hotel and Residences, which is already sold out.
The Brickell site — set to open in 2016 — is the second of two SLS Lux developments by sbe, with the first debuting in Las Vegas this past Labor Day weekend.
