Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne Nab $10 Million Country Estate

Refusing to rent anymore homes in Los Angeles, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have finally decided to settle down in a $10 million English-style country estate in the exclusive North Arden neighborhood of Beverly Hills.

Previously owned by film executive Alan Ladd Jr., the 5,680-square-foot home compasses five bedrooms and five half bathrooms in true British fashion.

Sharon Osbourne's preference for rooms with doors reflects the home’s interiors. In a 2011 interview, Sharon disclosed, “I’m very English. I like to close the door and be in one room and then open it and go into another. So many homes in L.A. just don’t have doors.”

The bathroom’s white step up tub against a floral-papered backdrop remains the centerpiece. Adjacent to the bathroom is a similarly lit walk-in closet.

The upholstered chairs, elaborate rugs, and reclaimed wood floors cater to the English couple’s home away from home.

The second-story terracotta tile balcony and rosy bramble covering the railings give the impression of a private garden overlooking a lush lower-level terrace. Built in 1988, the mansion features a secluded, grotto-like pool and spa and a two-story guest house complete with a garage. The residence table lamps, spotlights, and chandeliers illuminating the cream walls of every room bear a sharp contrast to the Osbournes’ previous Gothic digs.
