With its recently announced resort opening in Costa Rica in 2020, Rosewood has announced that the property will also feature 45 exclusive luxury residences at Puerto Papagayo. Jumping onto the mega-trend of luxe real estate properties immersing themselves in some of the biggest names in high-end hospitality, Rosewood is bringing the game away from go-to spots for the trend like Los Cabos and giving Costa Rica new life as a haute destination for those looking for a southern getaway.
This new wave of residences is only step one of Rosewood’s plan, with the end game of the resort and residences planning for 130 guestrooms in the resort and 92 residential offerings. The community, the first Rosewood property in the country, will also feature a spa, children’s area, tennis center, along with shopping and restaurants.
We are elated to see the reality of Rosewood Puerto Papagayo come to life as we begin accepting phase one residential reservations,” says Amy Davis, sales director for Rosewood Residences Puerto Papagayo. “For world travelers and prospective homebuyers who wish to call Costa Rica home, Rosewood Puerto Papagayo will perfectly capture Costa Rica’s pura vida luxury lifestyle.”
Some of the regions best architectural and development minds have been brought into the project like Aldesa and Zürcher Arquitectos. While plans for the specific amenities are still being decided for the residences, the community features innovative, interesting designs for the residences from villas with views of the Gulf of Papagayo to two-story treehouses boasting views of the jungle canopy.
The first wave of 45 residences are being planned at the $450,000 to $2.9 million price point. Sales are expected to begin in November of 2017, with buzz starting to surround the luxury properties around some of the world’s best beaches.
