‘Rain Man’ Director Buys Soho Loft for $5.65 Million

Filmmaker Barry Levinson, best known for Rain Man, Diner and Bugsy, just purchased a three-bedroom, three-bathroom loft in Manhattan’s trendy Soho neighborhood for $5.65 million, reports the NY Post.

Located at at 104 Wooster Street, the 3,090-square-foot unit boast classic loft features like high, wood beamed ceilings, large windows and wide-plank hardwood floors. The cast-iron building was constructed by architects DeLemos and Cordes in 1891. The home also has a gas fireplace and open kitchen with a wine cooler and high-end appliances.

Levinson currently lives in Connecticut with his family, but wanted a place to stay while he’s in the city working on projects.
