Actor and singer Neil Patrick Harris and his husband celebrity chef David Burtka just bought a house in the Hamptons for $5.5 million, The Real Deal reported.
The traditional-style East Hampton, New York estate, situated on over 13 acres, was originally listed for $7.4 million in 2014.
One of its previous owners was Barney Rosset, who published D.H. Lawerence’s “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” and “The Autobiography of Malcolm X.”
Antique fixtures and custom millwork define the picturesque, 5,250-square-foot home, according to the listing.
There is a country-style kitchen, four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a rooftop observatory and hot tub, four fireplaces, a media and game room, and a basement.
The walls of the great room overlook the expansive grounds, where there is a tennis court, swimming pool and pool house, and multiple gardens.
The listing was held by William Stoecker of Town & Country.
