London‘s Anise Gallery has announced that this year, "Maggie’s"—a remarkable cancer charity that was set up by Maggie Keswick Jencks—will be the beneficiary of its annual Christmas Auction being held on December 6th.

Maggie’s Centres are built around her belief that people should not “lose the joy of living in the fear of dying” and that the centres should be uplifting places, To carry this out, the organization asked a handful of prominent architects including Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, OMA, Richard Rogers, and Snøhetta to offer their unique interpretations of the Maggie’s brief, creating individual spaces of solace and care.

This year's auction—which features the work of both artists and architects—will include the donated works of four architects who have contributed Maggie’s Centres themselves: Ted Cullinan, Chris Wilkinson of Wilkinson Eyre, and Piers Gough of CZWG, responsible for the Newcastle, Oxford, and Nottingham Centres respectively.

All the works are on display at the Anise Gallery until December 6th, and online bidding opened on November 26th.
