A Peek Inside Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s $20 Million Mansion

Newlywed celebrities Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have allegedly dropped $20 million on a sprawling mega-watt mansion in California. Kardashian, star of the popular reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has been quoted saying she is “so ready” to move into her new digs with Grammy Award-winning hubby and their 15-month-old daughter North West. The power couple, commonly known as ‘Kimye,’ reportedly closed on the house in August. The French Country farmhouse mansion is known as “the jewel of Hidden Hills,” located in a more secluded suburban area that is – no pun intended – “north-west” of the bustling Los Angeles area. Needless to say, the property is loaded with every perk a celebrity couple of their magnitude could ask for. The nearly 16,000-square-foot, eight bedroom estate sits on three-and-a-half acres within a gated community, and is equipped with not one, but two vineyards. (Perhaps Kimye-brand wine is in the works?) It appears to be no secret the couple is a fan of white. Floor-to-ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, ‘art gallery walkways’ (to display West’s vast collection) and, of course, white-washed walls give the home an overall breezy, airy feel. Guests of the Kardashian-West home will be greeted and whisked into a grand foyer with a stunning wrought-iron spiral staircase. The elegant formal dining room features a marvelous crystal chandelier, and is connected to (along with the family room) a fully-equipped, all-white chef’s kitchen, with solid wood beams on the vaulted ceiling. The 1,050-square-foot outdoor entertainment pavilion, complete with a sports court area and pool house, features a large swimming pool and Jacuzzi, both lined with fountain streams to give it a touch of romance. There is also a second, smaller swimming pool with a slide for baby North. It would simply not be a house fit for Kimye unless it was equipped with “his and hers” separate walk-in closets, as seen below. Additional features include eight fireplaces, a wet bar, office, home theater, library, and a swanky games room with suede walls. Meanwhile, Kimye just recently put their Bel Air home on the market, as renovations are ongoing. They are about halfway completed. The power couple decided to flip the home after purchasing it in 2013 for $9 million. Reports have stated they were seeking to acquire more land and privacy than their Bel Air home could provide. The nearly 9,000-square-foot abode — which was gutted and still in the process of being completely re-done — has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and currently listed at $11 million.
