In the 1960s, President John F. Kennedy and the lovely Jackie Kennedy built a home for themselves in this stunning pastoral hideaway for horseback riding. The 39-acre Virginia ranch gave the couple plenty of much-needed privacy, though they were only able to enjoy the space for two weekends before Kennedy’s assassination in 1963.

Jackie Kennedy lived at Wexford (the estate) for several months after her husband’s passing, selling it the next year. The property has been home to three other owners and has accumulated an additional 127 acres. Much of the home’s original interior has been preserved, and this property will be a great fit for American history enthusiasts or an equestrian family.
