With national, international and over 20 years in Breckenridge, Jack Wolfe’s vast business and real estate experience is the foundation of his success. Jack has used his unparalleled luxury residential and commercial development experienced to guide buyers and sellers to meet their needs. As a resident of Summit County for 13 years, Aniela Wasmanski has built her realtor career by bringing together the art and science of real estate. Her experience with large-scale development projects, marketing, public relations, and commercial and residential real estate makes representing buyers and sellers in today’s market a seamless fit. Haute Residence sat down with Wolfe and Wasmanski to discuss the real estate market in Breckenridge and what buyers are looking for so far in 2020.

How has the luxury real estate market in Breckenridge been performing so far in 2020?

2019 was the best year ever in the Breckenridge and Summit County markets.  Year to date, we have seen a 5% increase in total sales volume from 2019 to 2020 in the luxury market above $1M, and the average sales price is up 3%.

What are buyers looking for in their homes in Breckenridge in 2020?

The majority of buyers are looking for a Mountain Modern home design as this style tends to have larger windows and outdoor living spaces to better experience the mountain environment.

Which has been a highlight sale for you so far in 2020?

We have a 3-bedroom mountain modern home under contract that was listed for $1.5M on the edge of the White River National Forest that is private with great views.  It checks all the boxes and the Buyers are thrilled.

Our two favorites are Relish and the Blue River Bistro both in Breckenridge.  Both always exceed expectations!

It’s time for spring break. What is a fun activity in Breckenridge?

One of our favorite activities is “The Beach" at the Arapahoe Basin ski area.  The music, grilling, families, friends, and dogs create an unforgettable experience!
