A Home Bar Is The Ultimate Gathering Point

All homes are built around one central point. For some, it’s the Norman Rockwell-styled fireplace. For others, its centered around the dining room table. If you live in Regalia, the ultra fancy luxury tower in Miami’s Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, the central point of the home is the $100,000 bar installed in its $39 million dollar penthouse apartment.

Bars have become the new staple of high luxury in affluent homeowners’ mindsets. According to Million Dollar Listings star Chad Carroll of The Carroll Group of Douglas Elliman, the bar offers all the ingredients for entertaining away from the traditional kitchen, outdoor terraces, or living rooms.” In Regalia, the space has been designed and furnished by AD100-lauded designer Charles Allem, and features focal points like a single slab of amethyst stone from Israel as the bar top with hand-hammered bronze finishes. The back of the bar also features an incredible 1,000 bottle temperature controlled wine cellar of millwork, metal, and glass that looks out onto the Atlantic ocean through the windows.

The two story, 10,755 square foot home also features luxe amenities outside the bar such as a rooftop pool, bespoke fixtures from around the world, a private glass elevator, six bedrooms, two being full masters, six full bathrooms, two hald bathrooms, and a poolside bathroom. If that wasn’t enough to tickle anyone’s fancy, there’s also a home movie theatre, private spa, wine cellar, game room, and wrap around outdoor terrace. So finding a core entertaining space at the bar may provide for the perfect gathering point, but feel free to let people roam and explore the expanses of this incredible estate.
