The Town of Golden Beach is known as one of Dade County’s most prestigious and desired zip codes. Golden Beach has also been in the limelight for the past few weeks, for very different reasons. First, as you may have seen on the news, a boat of Haitians strategically arrived on our beach. Then, just last week, Shaquille O’neal was sworn in as the town’s newest police officer (hmm, imagine getting pulled over by that big burly man!). And now, I would like to be the first to break some TOP SECRET news: the All-American Fashion Icon Tommy Hilfiger is our newest resident!
I am assuming Mr. Hilfiger’s oceanfront property was purchased via blind trust because the sale is not public record. In fact, this news was brought to my attention from an inside source, but as a resident in this luxurious and desired neighborhood, all I can say is welcome to my newest neighbor.
Hilfiger is not the first public figure to purchase on GB. His fellow past and present powerhouse neighbors will include singer-songwriter, Latin Pop sensation Ricky Martin, world-renowned fashion photographer Bruce Weber and radio show host Tom Joyner.
