BCBG womenswear founder Max Azria and his wife, Lubov, are currently looking to unload their massive Los Angeles estate—which features 17 bedrooms and 22 baths—for a breathtaking $85 million.
Poised on 2.8 acres showcasing five distinct gardens—French, English, Japanese, Moroccan, and herb—on top of a tennis court with an elevated viewing box, a separate guesthouse, a zero-edge pool, and two glass-encased greenhouses (one of which has been coolly transformed into a gym), the 30,000-square-foot estate, known as Maison Du Soleil, has endless enviable features, including a walk-in refrigerator; a 6,000-square-foot movie theater with its own snack bar; and a 2,500-square-foot office with a gold-leaf ceiling.
Unsurprisingly, the designer's personal wardrobe isn't housed in just any old walk-in closet, but in an entire room with French doors leading to the balcony.
The couple hopes to make quite the hefty profit off the spectacular home (currently held by Jaime Cuevas, Billy Rose, and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency), after originally purchased the estate for just $16 million back in 2005 from writer/producer Sidney Sheldon (who passed away in 2007).
