The annual Sundance Film Festival returned to Park City, Utah this year and while attendees were getting a front-row seat to the best films, we had an exclusive look inside two apres-style Utah homes. The estates were built, owned and designed by celebrity and film makeup artist Bron Roylance. Best known for his work on Terms of Endearment, Back to the Future, and numerous James Bond films, Roylance is also best buds with Pierce Brosnan, who he recruited to narrate a marketing video for the properties.

First up is The Monastery, a five-bedroom rustic French Monastery-style chalet. This property is an extraordinary place for cold-weather adventure and has direct ski-in and ski-out convenience. However, residents and guests will be able to enjoy the chalet all year round.

Featuring a two-story foyer accented with 100-year-old salvaged stained glass, ski-in and ski-out access to the resort, Apres-ski lounge, subterranean wine cellar, and den/library, the house is also within walking distance to the Sundance Resort.

It offers soaring vaulted ceilings, walls of windows with snowy-mountain views, and a master suite complete with a spa-like bathroom with a soaking tub and separate walk-in stone grotto shower.

At East Ridgetop Road, Roylance's personal residence offers a seamless indoor and outdoor flow from the two-story windows in the great room to the enormous deck overlooking Mount Timpanogos and the Wasatch Range.

Rich reclaimed wood and custom stonework are showcased within the home’s five stone fireplaces, which provide the ideal atmosphere for any occasion, from family nights to romantic evenings. The property is just minutes from Sundanceresort and also offers a separate guest apartment with a kitchenette that provides plenty of space for guests.
