In 2010, Wade purchased the waterfront residence at $10.6 million during his time with the Miami Heat. After retiring from the NBA in 2019, he was ready to bid farewell to his former home placing it on the market at an asking price of $32.5 million. Failing to attract potential buyers, the price was lowered to $29 million at the end of 2019. In 2020, the price was once more reduced to $26.5 million. The buyer recently managed to reduce the cost even further at an reported closing price of $22 million. The home is currently in pending sale status. Wade and Union now reside in their $18 L.A. million mansion in Hidden Hills after selling their Sherman Oaks abode for $5.5 million in May.

Wade’s former Miami mansion rests beyond private gates and spans 12,000 square feet. The east coast inspired Spanish architecture includes six bathrooms and 11 bathrooms with custom modern amenities. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, tile flooring, light wood cabinetry, and center island. The living area highlights beamed ceilings and arched glass doors with outdoor access. The family room also presents a wall of glass. The master suite features a seating area, office, marble bathroom, salon, and balcony with picturesque waterfront views. The exterior space offers a pool, gazebo, outdoor kitchen, bar, private dock, and Miami Heat themed basketball court. Other perks of the home include a wine room, game room, state-of-the-art professional theater, and four car garage.

Brett Harris with Douglas Elliman represented the listing for this property.
