Watch: “Coast To Coast” Real Estate Webinar #7 By Haute Residence

Haute Residence hosted its seventh and latest edition of “Coast to Coast”, the industry-leading real estate webinar series, featuring four of the top agents in their respective markets: Cristal Clarke (Montecito, CA), Scott Goshorn (Brentwood, CA), Jennifer Brilliant (Bal Harbour, FL), and Laura Livaudais (Asheville/Western North Carolina).

They were hosted by Haute Living's Erik Haase. Watch the full webinar below.

Highlight quotes:

Cristal Clarke: "I have never seen a January like this before. It's so busy, it seems even more ramped up than last year. It's amazing, the amount of people that want to be here. We get many clients coming from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and various places throughout the US. It's a pleasure to help them find a home here. What's challenging now is our inventory. More things are coming on the market but inventory is a challenge because of how much was sold last year."

Scott Goshorn: "From April on, we have been setting records every month. Inventory and interest rates are low. Home has a different value for people. It used to be that people traveled a lot. But since they can't travel as much, or at all, and don't have to travel to work, it's more of a compound situation. They are upgrading their life. The market was crazy. We had an amazing year in 2020, and I project the same for 2021."

Jennifer Brilliant: "Starting last Summer through now, it's been extremely busy, even with a surge around Thanksgiving. Now we are in the time of the year that is usually our high season, so it's extremely busy and with an extra kick because of COVID. Even in 2019, there were people moving here for tax purposes. With COVID, it seems that everybody that was on the fence jumped up and came down here."

Laura Livaudais: "The main thing about Asheville is that we have a Winter, but we have four distinct seasons, and that's what people really like about our market. By the time you get tired of Winter, you have a beautiful Spring. People are trying to get out of certain markets that have harsher winters or hotter climates, so they are flocking to the Asheville market."
