A 1928 Spanish Colonial-style Pebble Beach mansion owned by legendary actor Clint Eastwood is asking $9.75 million, according to the property website.  Eastwood purchased the nearly 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom home in 1994 for $3.9 million.

Designed by San Francisco architect Clarence Tantau, renowned for designing stunning architecture in Pebble Beach, this authentic farmhouse-style residence sits on 4.7 acres of fenced and gated property with panoramic views, from Point Lobos to Stillwater Cove.

The Spanish architecture is evident in the home’s thick adobe walls, terracotta roof tiles, and ornamental ironwork, as the property website describes.

Enormous, hand-carved entry doors, imported from Spain, lead to a charming open-air central courtyard, with canopied oak trees, a fountain, and other greenery.

Ocean views are seen from the living room, designed with high, hand-hewn beamed ceilings; a large masonry fireplace, terra-cotta-patterned, tiled flooring; and French doors that open to a stone terrace and expansive lawn and garden.

The dining room, characterized by high ceilings, intricately carved wood, tiled flooring, and custom glass chandeliers, has hosted dinner parties for celebrity types and influential figures from all over the world.

Each of its six bedrooms is entered through a covered loggia, which extends around the courtyard. The master suite has a fireplace, double vanities, a bathtub, and his-and-hers dressing rooms.

Eastwood recently built a much larger, hacienda-style hilltop home on 14 acres in his privately owned, invitation-only Tehama Golf Club in Carmel, according to Variety. He also has homes in the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, and Sun Valley, Idaho. The listing is held by Mike Jashinski of Sotheby’s Homes.
