Claire Danes Markets SoHo Loft

Actress Claire Danes has placed her 3,800-square-foot SoHo loft in New York on the market. The property has been listed at $5.9 million.

Danes bought the property back in 1998 and immediately brought in an architect to update and renovate the interior. The loft, which was featured in Architectural Digest back in 2000, features two bedrooms and three baths and is accented by exposed wood throughout the home.

Lumasite dividers are positioned in the main living area to divide the room up into smaller areas including a library. They can be retracted to make the most of the available space. The home capitalizes on its open feel and even includes an indoor hammock and rope swing.

A direct elevator offers access to the home.

Danes shared the home with her husband, actor Hugh Dancy.
