After remodeling the four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 5,700-square-foot home he lived in for the last seven years in the neighborhood of the Seven Hills Golf Club, Mike Tyson has purchased a bigger, more expensive home.

Located just down the street from his last home is the former heavyweight boxing champion of the world’s new abode, for which he paid $2.5 million.

Situated on three quarters of an acre of land, the Italian-style home comes with a couple of detached casitas, a media room, a wine cellar, marble flooring, and a garage that holds four cars. It also has its own gate. Though the mansion with 10,000 square feet of living space is in the golf community, it isn’t sited on the golf course itself.

The deal for the home closed towards the end of last year and was represented by Kenneth Lowman of Luxury Homes of Las Vegas, who claims Tyson was “very happy” with the purchase. "They recognized it was a good opportunity and smartly jumped on it," Lowman said.

Tyson, who now lives with his wife Lakika and has lived in the Las Vegas area for almost 30 years, had reportedly been eyeing his latest property purchase for some time now. He is said to be listing his other Seven Hills property for $1.5 million sometime this month.
