Bill Ackman Buys One57 Penthouse for $90 Million

Bill Ackman, the founder and CEO of hedge fund Pershing Square Capital Management, is now the proud owner of a $90 million penthouse in Manhattan. But, he has no plans to live in its luxurious walls.

Ackman purchased the 14,000-square-foot duplex unit — featuring six bedrooms and prime Central Park views — with a group of investors, reports the Journal. The unit also boasts a glass atrium with a wall that swings open and a living room with double-height ceilings.

Interior designer Tony Ingrao is the person who reportedly convinced Ackman to consider One57. The deal is expected to close next Spring.
