Ashley Tisdale and her husband, Christopher French, are saying goodbye to their Los Feliz villa. The actress listed the home back in January and has officially sold it a few months later for $5.78 million. Tisdale and her husband purchased the 4,214-square-foot property for $4.1 million in 2019, securing a decent profit from their sale.

Tisdale has been dipping into the real estate market as of lately, recently purchasing a new Mediterranean-style home in the Hollywood Hills. She has also launched her own interior design business, Frenshe Interiors. Tisdale found inspiration from her father, Mike Tisdale, who worked as a contractor throughout her childhood.

In a 2018 interview with Architectural Digest, Tisdale shared that it was her dream to renovate a home alongside her father. “I grew up with him building all these amazing houses – including Darren Star’s home in Los Angeles – and I missed working together,” she stated at the time.

While under Tisdale’s ownership, the Los Feliz villa has undergone remarkable changes. Built in 1923, the five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom residence blends Old World charm with modern sensibilities. Tisdale ensured to keep many of the original details throughout the home such as the leaded glass windows and lighting fixtures. She has added her own charm to the residence as well.

The incorporation of unique color schemes and patterns has created a delightful atmosphere throughout the home. Tisdale has added a deep teal in the dining room, a dark green hue in the formal dining area, a denim blue within one of the bathrooms, and intricate patterned wallpaper in the front foyer.

New European oak floors have also been added throughout the residence. The kitchen has been extensively updated with white subway tiles and a unique fireplace built into a breakfast nook nearby, designed with the help of her father. The main suite includes a private covered balcony and a vintage-style bathroom with white marble floors.

Outside is a spacious deck, a lounge area with a built-in grill, a large pool and a two-story guest house.
