The world’s most expensive apartment is located in Monaco's Tour Odéon and can be yours for $335 million, according to published reports.
The outrageous residence is located within Tour Odéon, which, at 558 feet high, is the Principality’s tallest newly-built residential building. A collaboration between developer Groupe Marzocco, architect Alexandre Giraldi, and interior designer Alberto Pinto, the building stands in a quiet district and provides exquisite views from the Principality to the Mediterranean Sea, while being within five minutes of the bustling center of Monaco.
The dazzling 31,500-square-foot, ocean-facing penthouse occupies the 45th through the 49th floors and boasts unparalleled 360-degree views over the sea. One of the most notable highlights is a fabulous outdoor circular rooftop infinity pool and deck, with a water slide that descends from a dance floor directly into the pool, redefining the concept of a luxury playground.
As described in the Tour Odéon website, the residences enjoy a "spaciousness that is enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling glass walls and seemingly endless views of the Mediterranean below. According to Forbes, owners of luxury real estate in Monaco must become full-time residents, and broker Edward de Mallet Morgan of Knight Frank, which represents other units in the building, says that occupants are mainly European, Russian, and Middle Eastern. “There’s nothing like [Tour Odéon] in Monaco—nothing brand new, built to this quality, of this height or with amenities to rival top hotels and other top developments in London, New York and Asia,” de Mallet Morgan says.
