The fictional home of Spider-Man’s archnemesis, the Green Goblin, is a real-life residence in Tudor City, New York that has recently been listed on the real estate market. The unit rests in the Windsor Tower at 5 Tudor City Place and is currently priced at $1.99 million. The space was pictured in all three of the "Spider-Man" films between 2002 and 2007 where acclaimed actor Willem Dafoe portrayed the vilifying figure against Tobey Maguire’s web slinging superhero. Although this unit alone is unique to the "Spider-Man" universe, the apartment complex itself has served as a key location in several other films. In "Jason Bourne," Matt Damon’s titular character jumped from the building’s roof into the East River in the final scene of "The Bourne Ultimatum." The iconic crime movie "Scarface" was filmed right outside the Windsor Tower lobby and in "The Godfather: Part III," Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone ate breakfast on the terrace of an adjacent penthouse unit.

Located in Tudor City, New York, the newly listed cinematic property for sale consists of a luxe triplex penthouse. The one bedroom spread opens to a winding staircase with hand painted cast iron rails connecting all three levels. The great room features a vintage 1920s fireplace, refinished herringbone flooring, 18-foot ceilings, and 15-foot casement windows with marvelous views of the Midtown skyline. On the second floor, the residence offers a renovated kitchen, chic dining room, and spacious bedroom with two walk-in closets. The third floor presents its own 300 square foot private terrace with tables and seating to overlook the dazzling cityscape below.

The Julia Hoagland Team at Compass holds the listing for this property.
