Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty is saying farewell to his Encino home. The 9,000-square-foot San Fernando Valley home has been listed for $9 million.

Fogerty bought the property in 2018 from film and TV producer, Michael Sugar, for $6.75 million and completely remodeled the home during his stay. The home was built in 2016 with a traditional style, featuring shades of blue on the exterior and neutral tones on the interior. Fogerty has since revamped the style, adding an exterior of shingles and stained wood as well as a portico entry of glass and steel leads inside.

The open-concept layout features a dining room, bar, and a formal living room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Fogerty has also added accent walls of black in the living room and movie theater, and a blue accent wall in the lounge near the wet bar. The remodeled kitchen has a geo white-quartz stone island, breakfast bar, glass cabinets, and a motorized window that opens to the backyard.

The two-story home comprises six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Double doors open to the master suite, which is located on the second floor. It includes a sitting room, two fireplaces, two walk-in closets, and two bathrooms.

Outside is a covered lounge area, a pool with a waterfall, a spa, and a fire pit. The home also includes a three-car garage and driveway, with extra room for guest parking.

John Fogerty has not used this home as his primary residence. When purchased, he chose to upgrade the property instead to its newly remodeled state, and then sell it to a buyer.
