A glamorous country music-inspired, Nashville mansion, located on the “path of totality,” may be the ideal setting to view the total solar eclipse, happening throughout the United States on August 21.
Previously owned by country music hall of famer, Barbara Mandrell, “Fontanel Mansion,” just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville is available for nightly bookings via Booking.com.
The 33,000-square-foot log cabin residence has an expansive backyard, as well as an atrium, ideal for eclipse viewing. The backyard will be equipped with plenty of large daybeds and telescopes. Protective glasses will also be available.
With over 20 rooms, 13 bathrooms, five fireplaces, two kitchens, and an indoor pool, the mansion exudes the charm of the “Music City” with mementos and memorabilia from country stars, such as Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, and Jewel throughout.
Currently, four bedrooms are available to be booked for the evening of August 20, with a late check out on August 21.
Mandrell’s own “Grand Master Suite,” with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom, is offered for $3,000 per night.
Featuring two separate bedrooms with queen-sized beds and a shared bathroom, the “Big and Rich Suite” is priced at $2,500 per night.
One room, the “John Rich Room” has plenty of country bling, while “Big Kenny’s Room” is decorated with a Native American theme.
Offered for $2,000 per night, the “Women of Country Suite,” with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom, flaunts dresses and photos of many of country music’s most famous ladies.
The last option, the “Owner’s Suite,” containing of king-sized bed and en suite bathroom, is outfitted with more memorabilia. It is also available for $2,000 per night.
