The West Village townhouse that pop princess Taylor Swift rented in 2016 has been listed for $24.5 million, Luxury Listings reported.
Swift reportedly spent $39,500 per month renting the five-bedroom, four-floor residence on Cornelia Street, while her duplex apartment in Tribeca was being renovated.
Built as a carriage house in 1912, the charming, 5,400-square-foot brick home, features dramatic double-height ceilings, glass windows, antique brick walls, Russian Ipe wood floors, and three fireplaces (one wood-burning and two gas), the listing states.
On the third floor, there are double master suites and north and south facing terraces. A separate bathing area, designed with marble floors, is connected to a private terrace with a gas fireplace.
The indoor pool, which is connected to a lounge area, is designed with basalt stone tile floors throughout and double-height ceilings. An elegant chandelier hands just above the pool.
The rooftop terrace features an outdoor kitchen, a built-in barbecue, and a Jacuzzi with views of Cornelia Street.
The outdoor spaces add an additional 1,600 square feet, and a private garage and elevator allow for easy access to the residence.
Owner David Aldea paid $5.3 million for the townhome in 2005, and then renovated it, adding the indoor pool and over 2,000 square feet of space.
The listing at 23 Cornelia St. is held by Deborah Grubman, Laurence Carty, and Markus Buchmeier of Corcoran.
