Andy Heyward, co-creator of the children’s cartoon series Inspector Gadget, has listed his house in Bel-Air for $10.495 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The producer, writer, and CEO of Genius Brands International bought the East Coast traditional-style home two years ago from Jay Penske, founder of Penske Media Corporation, for $7.25 million, according to property records.
Situated on over an acre, the gated, two-story residence, built in 2011, features five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a step-down living room, a formal dining room, a library, a screening room, and a center-island kitchen, within its 5,000 square feet of living space.
The master suite consists of dual closets and an en suite bathroom, with city and canyon views seen from the private balcony.
Wrap-around terraces extend around the home with a screened sun porch.
Expansive lawns and landscaping, as well as an infinity-edge swimming pool, complete the grounds.
Heyward previously headed the animation production company, DiC Entertainment, and his production portfolio includes The Real Ghostbusters, Sailor Moon and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The listing at 1145 Stradella Road is held by Myra Nourmand and Bahar Soomekh of Nourmand & Associates.
