The plush pad of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin was recently relisted for $9.995 million, according to Luxury Listings.
At the corner of Washington and Laight streets in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood, the 3,892-square-foot residence was listed in April for $14.25 million. In November, that price was reduced to $12.85 million. Paltrow and Martin purchased the penthouse in 2007 for a little over $5.1 million.
The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home is located at River Lofts, a two-building warehouse conversion designed by Roman and Williams.
A grand entry gallery is illuminated by a skylight. The home is refined with an “ethereal” palette, the listing states, of delicate whites, lavenders, grays, silvers, and embroidered walls throughout.
Beneath an 11-foot-tall custom-pressed tin ceiling, the great room is brightened by arched windows and French doors. A Chesney’s marble gas fireplace and plush sofa swing create a cozy and inviting ambience.
Views of the 500-square-foot decked terrace can be seen from the white-on-white kitchen with banquette seating. Appliances include a six-burner Thermador range with a grill, double ovens and a Viking range hood, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer with four extra drawers, a Miele Incognito dishwasher, and a Gaggenau espresso machine and steamer.
A high ceiling encloses the master bedroom with two sets of French doors leading out to a terrace. Within the suite, there are four custom closets and an en suite bathroom with heated floors, a walk-in steam shower, deep soaking tub, and dual-sink vanity. The additional two bedrooms have large closets and en suite bathrooms.
Building amenities include a 24-hour doorman, a newly renovated fitness center, a bicycle room, and direct elevator access to the indoor garage.
The listing at 416 Washington St. is held by Jay Glazer of Compass.
