The eclectic Miami Beach home of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has been listed with a price tag of $27.5 million, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Hilfiger, who bought the house in Golden Beach in 2013 for $17.25 million, renovated and designed the vibrant abode with designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to be, in his words, “really unusual.”
The 14,000-square-foot residence is not being sold furnished, but it has plenty of quirky details, such as scratch-and-sniff wallpaper in the bathrooms, a polka-dot-themed bedroom, and a silver sculpture of Mickey Mouse in the foyer.
Splashes of color distinctively characterize each of the seven bedrooms and twelve (four half) bathrooms.
There is an elevator, a swimming pool, and an outdoor area with a bar and grill.
The home at 605 Ocean Boulevard could be the most expensive sale in Golden Beach if it’s sold at the current asking price, according to listing brokers Jill Hertzberg and Jill Eber of The Jills.
