English celebrity duo David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are shopping for a place to build their family dream home in Miami. According to the New York Post, the Beckhams’ real estate advisors were sent to scope out the property at 45 Star Island Drive, which is listed for sale for $16.5 million.
The retired professional soccer player and fashion designer would likely tear down the 10,636-square-foot home, built in 1981, and rebuild on the property’s 1.07 acres.
Owned by Lea Black, star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami, and her criminal defense attorney husband Roy Black, the ritzy residence is situated on 193 feet of water frontage. It has seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half bathrooms, as well as a guesthouse with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The Blacks purchased the home in 2007 for $7.1 million. The asking price was recently reduced from $16.99 million.
The listing is held by Oren Alexander of Douglas Elliman and Lourdes Alatriste of One Sotheby’s International Realty.
