Rebranded Hyatt Centric Times Square New York Opens With Resort-Style Amenities

Formerly known as the Hyatt Times Square New York, the 54-story, redesigned Hyatt Centric Times Square New York opened last week with a brand new look and exclusive amenities.

As part of an elite collection of full-service hotels, the 487-room, Hyatt Centric-branded hotel is equipped with even more comfortable lodgings and sophisticated amenities for your most leisurely stay, from gourmet dining, to luxury libations, to an enhanced spa experience.

The spacious guest rooms, each averaging 364 square feet, consists of floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the city.

The hotel’s rooftop lounge Bar 54 offers indoor and outdoor seating, and on the ground floor, a new dining concept will open in early 2017.

Within the 4,200-square-foot fitness center, the Marilyn Monroe™ Spa, which is the only hotel spa in Times Square, offers a full menu of services and treatments, including a blow-out bar and manicure and pedicure stations. Additionally, Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryers, provided by the spa, are in every guest room.

Situated among Broadway theaters and not far from Madison Square Garden, Hyatt Centric Times Square New York aims to create the ultimate travel experience for guests by collaborating with experiential brands, such as Flytographer, an on-demand photography service, and TurnStyle, an underground food and retail market below Columbus Circle.

"The new Hyatt Centric Times Square New York is geared towards the millennial-minded traveler, one who is looking for a deeper emphasis on localized offerings," says Philip Stamm, general manager for the property. "We will be providing our guests with access to just that with insider New York City tips from our team as well as experiences with unexpected partners in our great city."

The full Hyatt Centric experience will be available early 2017.
