Luxury property auctioneer, DeCaro Luxury Auctions, is slated to auction off "Palazzo Di Mare."
Located on five lush acres of land in Vero Beach, Florida, the $20 million property features a six-bedroom, 10-bathroom main residence; a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse; a circular driveway with a European-style fountain; an underground, climate-controlled garage with parking for 14 vehicles; a Venetian-inspired Italian pool with 14-karat gold leaf details; a 205-foot private beach with a sandy shoreline; and a private dock with a 10,000-pound automatic boat lift.
The 24,000-square-foot main residence’s master suite has a hand-painted ceiling mural, multiple double-hung windows with arched tops, silver and gold custom-carved columns, and an iron spiral staircase, while the formal dining room has seating for eight, a 14-Karat gold leaf ceiling, and a crystal chandelier. The gourmet kitchen is accompanied by Sub-Zero and Thermador appliances.

“Palazzo Di Mare" translates to "Palace by the Sea" in Italian, which suits the estate’s castle-like appearance that took five years to develop and its unmatched views of the Atlantic Ocean,” says DeCaro Luxury Auctions’ CEO and founder Daniel DeCaro.
The magnificent estate has been open for viewing since April 9, with the last scheduled open house being held Friday, April 29.
Palazzo Di Mare is currently owned by the widow of Bill Nicholson. Nicholson co-founded Retail Grocery Inventory Service (RGIS), the company responsible for developing the inventory tracking system that has been used by grocery stores across the country.
