“Villa Garzoni Pinocchio” resides on the park that was designed by the father of Carlo “Collodirdquo” Lorenzini. Lorenzini set his most famous work, “The Adventures of Pinocchio,” in the heart of Collodi, where the estate is located and where Lorenzini grew up, the listing states.

Thirty-seven miles outside of Florence, the 59,105-square-foot residence was designed by architect, Ottaviano Diodati, with 38 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms. It replaced a 16th century mansion that was built on the ruins of a fortress from the Middle Ages.
