Why Jill Brenenstuhl Loves Paradise Valley, Arizona in the Summer

Yes, Arizona is a warm state, but think of the climate as a dry heat.

In the winter, Arizona is a mecca for visitors to escape the cold. We are also the home to world-class events like Classic Car Auctions, Arabian Horse Show, golf tournaments, and MLB Spring Training.

In the summer, the streets are less populated, the skies are always blue, and the resorts offer special rates on rooms and spa treatments. My favorite resorts are the Camelback Inn and the Montelucia. Another way to cool down from the heat is to stop by El Chorro on Lincoln Drive for happy hour specials.

Now is the time for savvy second (or third) home buyers to explore the possibilities that Paradise Valley offers during the off seasons. Prices will be higher and competition will be fiercer later in the year.
