Fendi, Four Seasons, Oceana, 87 Park... The cities of Bal Harbour and Surfside will be changed forever when these surreal projects come to completion.
Surfside offers neighborhood shops along Harding Avenue, and the most exclusive in the world at its grand neighbor, the Bal Harbour Shops. When I look back to Surfside 20 years ago, it still has its neighborhood charm, but now it is embraced by two new hotels, The Grand Beach and the soon-to-open Surf Club Four Seasons designed by the eminent Richard Meier. The star-architect has designed the Surf Club Four Seasons, with his signature all-glass buildings while maintaining the Surf Club, which is protected from demolition due to its historic designation.
This will be the first oceanfront Four Seasons in Miami, featuring approximately 1000 feet of pristine coastline. The Surf Club Four Seasons will have approximately 120 private residences, first-class restaurants, and amenities. The first project to be completed this winter will be the Fendi Chateau, a magnificent building ranging from $6 to $25 million. What I love about it is that it consists of only 60 residences and boasts a sprawling coastline of 600 feet. The few owners and their families will enjoy world-class amenities steps from the famous Bal Harbour shops.
The Chateau Fendi is the first branded condominium in the U.S. for the iconic fashion house, and I am sure they will deliver elegantly ultra-luxurious modern residences. A hidden Malibu- style project is Ocean Seven: eco-chic oceanfront townhomes, with over 4000 square feet of perks, including a Tesla and customized bike.
