September ended the third quarter with the best month of the year in both dollar volume and number of transactions. September sales volume increased 55 percent from last year’s $148,315,026 to this year's $229,528,778. September also increased 26 percent in transactions from 88 transactions last year to 236 transactions this year.

Arrowhead took the lead in sales volume for September accounting for over $35 million in sales volume with 13 transactions. The average transaction price was around $2.8 million for Arrowhead. Vail Village and Lionshead saw nine transactions with $33,869,640 in sales volume and the average transaction price of nearly $4 million. Beaver Creek had seven transactions with a total dollar volume of $15,282,686 and the average transaction price at around $2.7 million.

A duplex on Forest Road in Vail Village sold for $10,900,000, making it the highest-priced residential sale for September 2015. The highest price per square foot, which was also in Vail, for September reported $2,634 per square foot for a total price of $7,750,000.
