The residential crowd is made up of…fun, happy, outdoor-loving, serious, high-technology, ballet and symphony-attending, organic food-eating, friendly people. Utah has the highest rate of college graduates in the nation, and many high-technology companies are moving here and setting a record for successful start-ups that is unrivaled across the country.

The community vibe is…alive! Surprising to non-Utahns, many people here are serious foodies, along with being art gallery strollers, mountain and street bikers, hikers, golfers, and, especially, skiers. The positive energy is electrifying.

The lifestyle offered is…healthy, family-oriented, safe, and clean. It involves outdoor activities, easy living, organic foods and great restaurants, farmers markets, outdoor concerts, hiking, biking, skiing, and a lot of sunshine.

The area’s greatest highlights are…its spectacular mountains, blue skies, close proximity to eight world-class ski resorts, nearby Park City, golf courses and biking and hiking trails.

The area’s best driving-distance getaways are…the breathtakingly beautiful national parks of Utah. The five parks, all within a five-hour drive, and most within three hours are Arches, Canyonlands, Zions National Park, Bryce and Capitol Reef. And of course, there is also Moab, the mountain biking, jeeping, river running center of the world.

The best spots to find entertainment are…

In Salt Lake, we have the Red Butte Garden’s Outdoor Concert Series. And in Park City, there is the St. Regis Deer Valley Big Stars, Bright Nights Concert Series. Salt Lake also features a world-class local urban zoo Hogle Zoo, the Utah Symphony, Utah Jazz basketball, Ballet West, Salt Lake Real Soccer, in addition to many local farmers markets, museums, art galleries, and restaurants.

The best spots to go shopping are…at City Creek in downtown Salt Lake City and on Park City’s Main Street.

The best places to tee off are…

There are many wonderful, affordable, and engaging golf courses in the Salt Lake and Park City areas offering amazing views of the Wasatch Mountain Range, as well as periodic encounters with wild turkeys, foxes, and sometimes moose (which you always let play through).
