Our gorgeous city of Vancouver is in the Pacific Northwest where summers are gorgeous, especially by the ocean. In West Vancouver we select The Beach House restaurant, at the foot of 25th Street, right on the sea wall. The atmosphere is L.A. casual, if that makes sense. The food is great in an unpretentious way: no small nouvelle cuisine choices, and lots of crab and lobster, fresh halibut in season, and of course, salmon. We go there almost every evening...
