The Lakes Region of New Hampshire has some of the most incredible views in New England, with its 1,300 or so lakes and Lake Winnipesaukee being the pinnacle of them all at over 44,000 acres. New Hampshire is a state of majestic mountains, including 48 mountain peaks over 4000 feet, with Mount Washington at the top of the list at 6,288 feet. It is a state with hundreds of miles of unspoiled, unobstructed views of the best that Mother Nature can provide. It is a state covered in 86 percent trees and made up of thousands of miles of trails. It is the New Hampshire state of mind. Some of the finest views can be seen right from your deck. Only a few homes here have incredible exposure of the area’s coveted sunsets. The most rare feature of all is a million-dollar estate with a truly million-dollar view––all for under a million dollars. The estate at 23 Newport Drive in New Durham is all of the above.
