What is the community culture like?

Nassau is a very diverse community with residents from all over the globe. Most of the expats residing in Nassau come from Canada, The UK, the North East United States, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Can you describe the local school system and what type of education children get here?

The Bahamas has both private and public schools. Public schools are based on the British education system. Private schools can be based on either the British or American systems or a combination of both. Private schools also offer university-level courses and International Baccalaureate programs.

What local amenities does your market have to offer?

Nassau and Paradise Island offer all the amenities of a North American city – Five Star restaurants, designer shopping, championship golf courses, and casinos. We also have a few things that most cities don’t: stunning beaches, crystal clear seas and an average of 315 days of sunshine per year!
