This prestigious award recognizes 40 of the top individuals below age 40 in Okaloosa and Walton counties who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence, and a commitment to the communities across Northwest Florida.</p>
<p>“Looking back six years ago and where I was in life, or even just two years ago, I never imagined I would ever be where I am or that I would be receiving an award like this one,” says Parker. “I’m so thankful to the people in my life who have played an integral part in growing and shaping me to who I am today.”</p>

<p><strong>How did you get into real estate?</strong></p>
<p>I grew up around real estate and construction. My Father being an architect and builder and my Mother a broker at the time, I would spend every Sunday at open houses or scouring the neighborhoods looking at different properties, and my summers were spent on the construction sites or in my Father's office. I like to say it's in my blood. My upbringing created a strong passion for real estate over the years, specifically for architecturally significant properties. I believe my experience in design and construction has enabled me to stand out in the competitive industry.</p>
<p><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong>What trends have you seen in South Florida real estate in the past few months?</strong></p>
<p>I think we've seen a significant flocking to South Florida. People are looking for larger spaces, quality construction, thoughtful and unique design, open floor plans, along with at-home amenities such as gyms, offices, and detached guest houses. I think the recent experience has created an entirely new meaning to what "Home" really is. The homes I've had the pleasure of selling create an experience for my clients - they have everything they need at home.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p><strong>What has been one of your favorite homes to represent the seller and/or buyer and why?</strong></p>
<p>Hammock House was a very special project for me in representing our Firm. The home was thoughtfully designed around a natural hammock and its surrounding 80+ oak trees. We were able to maximize the lot's usable area and simultaneously maintain its strong connection to nature, preserving most of the vegetation on the property. The home is sprawled on just under an acre and roughly 12,000SF.</p>

<p><strong>How would you describe a “legacy property”?</strong></p>
<p>Legacy properties are those that offer owners luxury, privacy, security, and most of all, a comfortable place for your family to call home. Legacy properties have space to spread out and often have acreage. These estates include amenities like pools, sports courts, fitness centers, and home offices and are designed to be passed down from generation to generation.</p>
<p><strong>Why would a buyer want to purchase a legacy property in Oregon?</strong></p>
<p>Oregon has some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country - ranging from the sandy beaches and rugged coastline along the Pacific Ocean to the high desert of Central Oregon and the majestic mountains of the Cascade Range. Many of the legacy properties I have represented take advantage of the incredible hilltop, desert, mountaintop, or water views.</p>
<p>Oregon has become an appealing place for both out-of-state and out-of-country buyers. In addition to the state’s beautiful and varied landscapes and the fabulous properties that can be found throughout the state, buyers appreciate that there is no sales tax in Oregon. We also have thriving industry clusters that include high-tech, apparel, wine, and clean technology.</p>

<p><strong>What are some examples of legacy properties available in Oregon?</strong></p>
<p>Oregon is the ninth largest state in the country but ranks 27th in population. That means we have space to spread out, and many legacy properties take advantage of that!</p>
<p>The 22,000-sq.-foot estate I recently sold in Turner, Oregon, sits on 50 rolling acres with views for miles. This property was designed to be a private resort and has an exquisite array of features including a pool with a retractable roof, a fitness center, two-lane bowling alley, private guest apartment, and entertaining space galore. Being in the heart of the Willamette Valley, Oregon’s famed wine country, the estate also has potential for vineyards and a winery as 23 acres of the estate had soil that was rated “good to excellent” for grapevines.</p>
<p>In Newberg, Oregon, I represented a 25-acre, riverfront estate that would certainly be classified as a legacy property. <p>Our <b>6-prong</b> (pricing, positioning, placement, promotion, prestige and prospective buyer) marketing plan is tailored to each individual property. But, our common objective for every seller is aiding him/her in obtaining as many qualified buyers possible into or to his/her property until we have it sold.  <b>The bottom line of a listing is to sell it,</b><b> Period!</b> We first price the listing correctly the day we take the listing, create property differentiation and are persistently proactive until that buyer is at the negotiating table. <p><b>What media channels do you find work best, and why do you think they work? (Print, online, direct selling, word of mouth) </b></p>
<p>Each media outlet works depending on the needs and purposes assigned to it. Servicing our sellers with targeted, effective advertising to position our properties and drive sales are important and necessary. But, word of mouth, contacts, networking and the old-fashioned way of speaking and meeting face-to-face are equally crucial. Adding the personal touch is still very professional.</p>
<p><b>What advice or assistance do you offer your clients when it comes to staging their property for potential buyers? </b></p>
<p>We have to remember that the condition of a home or condo is vital to any sale. Properties that are in good, or tip-top, condition show better and sell better. Those that look good stand out, and have more chances of being sold faster and for more. It is better to be in the top 5 of the competition than in the bottom 5. Ideally, #1 or #2 showing spots are the best.</p>
<p><b>When it is time to showcase the home, how do you decide to have an open house, or to show the property by appointment only? </b></p>
<p>Open Houses, broker open houses and by appointment only are separate things but not mutually exclusive. With broker open houses, we want to show the property to our colleagues. Our colleagues are not only great in giving us input on the property but they can talk about it with their customers which can become potential buyers. Open houses are for getting potential buyers directly to the property. And, by appointment only works great because he/she who has made appointment has this property on the top of his/her list.</p>

<p><strong>What do you see as your company’s greatest success in 2012?</strong></p>
<p>Echelon Estates has had so many great things happen in 2012 - Echelon's move to level 26 of Sydney's only 6 star energy efficiency rated building, No1. Bligh Street, which has already featured on the cover of numerous Architectural magazines and won many awards, has been a great move for the company.  The attraction of our first hi-profile International agencies, choosing the luxury branded portal created by the company (<a href="http://www.echelon-estates.com" target="_blank">www.echelon-estates.com</a>) as a means to raise the International enquiry levels on the luxury assets they represent, was another huge success for the company. And we would consider the exclusivity of the Australian market with Haute Residence as another successful string to the bow of Echelon Estates - a relationship which will bear fruit for many years to come.</p>
<p><strong>What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities in the coming year ahead?</strong></p>
<p>If I was to sum it up in a word I would say "collaboration".  As soon as we launched the Echelon portal, within a week we had a French real estate organization, an Italian family with a villa in Tuscany and a Costa Rican resort owner contact us. So for us, it’s about creating something of value and working with like minded people from across the planet, to achieve successful outcomes.</p>
<p><strong>What changing market aspects will have the greatest impact on the way you conduct business in 2013?</strong></p>
<p>Echelon Estates is perfectly positioned to capitalize on the changing market - in fact our entire business model takes advantage of these changes: Overseas agents looking to capture the interest of high-net-worth individuals from the wealthiest economies in the world at present will look to showcase their client’s properties on our luxury branded portal targeting the Australasian market.  So we are looking forward to attracting the best in the industry and nurturing the professional relationships with our International Associates. On the ground here is Australia, as the mining boom slows, the federal government is looking to stimulate the housing sector, so we will reap the benefits of that - attracting owners of luxury assets who realize the importance of a real estate firm with International reach, and as 2013 will see the opening of three Echelon Estates offices in key Cities globally, we believe we will be able to add considerable value to everyone associated with the brand.</p>
<p><strong>What is it about you and your company that sets you apart from the rest?</strong></p>
<p>Thinking big and acting fast, visionary and global mindset, entrepreneurial and progressive attitudes all set the Echelon Estates team apart within the walls of our office. Backing that rhetoric up with tangible points of difference in the marketplace is what sets us apart in the minds of the clients we represent.</p>
<p><strong>What are the most important questions a client should ask themselves before selecting an agent in your market?</strong></p>
<p>Does this agent have a global cost effective marketing strategy?</p>
<p>What are their unique local marketing channels?</p>
<p>What is their buyer servicing strategy?</p>
<p>Are they part of an effective business unit, supported by a team driving the necessary administrative tasks?</p>
<p>All the time, ask yourself, have they demonstrated how they can add value to every step in the sales process?</p>
<p>Finally, and more importantly, what is their character and attitude like.  They should be smart, fresh, and knowledgeable, have a proven track record and yet still be hungry for the opportunity to represent you.  If arrogance creeps in, walk out.</p>

<p><strong>What do you see as your company’s greatest success in 2012?</strong></p>
<p>We were again fortunate in these very challenging times to have Bernadette as the top listing and selling agent in the Turks and Caicos Islands.</p>
<p><strong>What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities in the coming year ahead?</strong></p>
<p>The luxury end of the market is gaining strength.  More buyers are choosing to purchase real estate for lifestyle. There is a significant high end variety of real estate to choose from in the Turks and Caicos from beachfront homes, sites and condos to canal from homes and sites.</p>
<p><strong>What is it about you and your company that sets you apart from the rest?</strong></p>
<p>We are involved in all areas of the market and not just the luxury end.  By being involved in all areas of the market we have a wider understanding of the market and the home markets of our buyers. We present our listings in a professional manner with exceptional photography whereas the majority of our competitors do not. Professional presentation of all listings is very important.</p>
<p><strong>What are the most important questions a client should ask themselves before selecting an agent in your market? </strong></p>
<p>What is the agent’s level of experience?</p>
<p>How well do they know the jurisdiction?</p>
<p>Has the agent invested in real estate or in a home in the jurisdiction.?</p>
<p>Is the agent a good listener?If they are then they will easily sift through the properties on the entire MLS and put together a short list of properties to view.</p>

<p><strong>What do you see as your company’s greatest success in 2012?</strong></p>
<p>As an exclusive affiliate of Christie's International Real Estate, our brokerage Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates outsold our nearest competitor by 15% in 2012, with more than 60% of our transactions in the luxury market.  We relocated to new offices and grew our sales force as well.</p>
<p><strong>What do you see as some of the biggest opportunities in the coming year ahead?</strong></p>
<p>Buying into the Jackson market has terrific tax benefits for someone looking to get out of a high tax burden state.  Although our inventory is at its lowest, prices have only begun to rise, so this is an opportune time to invest in an amenity-rich resort town.</p>
<p><strong>What changing market aspects will have the greatest impact on the way you conduct business in 2013?</strong></p>
<p>Web-based real estate sites are where a lot of potential clients search prior to contacting a realtor.  Convincing those Buyers and Sellers that my team, LintonBingle Associate Brokers, is their best choice in Jackson Hole is the biggest challenge.  Buyers could easily end up with a less experienced, less knowledgeable realtor.  Capturing that traffic, driving them to our website, and convincing them that we are their "go-to" team, is my marketing challenge.</p>
<p><strong>What is it about you and your company that sets you apart from the rest?</strong></p>
<p>My individual sales records in Jackson Hole have always placed me in the top percent and this past year was a record one. I am recognized throughout the community as the premier Broker with an excellent reputation for service and professionalism. A few months ago, I partnered with Betsy Bingle, an Associate Broker with years of luxury project sales in the U.S. and internationally.  Together we are the most dynamic and client centered team in Jackson Hole.</p>
<p><strong>What are the most important questions a client should ask themselves before selecting an agent in your market?  </strong></p>
<p>Which agent has the most knowledge and longevity in their market? Which agent is going to look out for the client's best interests with a dynamic approach?  Which agent can provide the client with the most accurate and relevant information for their needs?  The Jackson Hole market has approximately 520 realtors, but only the LintonBingle team can deliver the depth of competence and professionalism you should expect as a Buyer.</p>
