Silk Curtains

If you like the lightness of silk curtains, you'll love this cape-cod style home with accents of silk taffeta.

This “picture perfect” cape-cod style home encases a warm and relaxed interior. Bold color and unexpected juxtapositions of texture – warm woods, sea grass, silk taffeta, and crisp white painted walls - create an inviting weekend getaway. Furnishings are an eclectic mix of both antique and contemporary pieces – a culmination of items collected from flea markets in England and France. The surrounding landscape is an extension of the home’s interior – casual and uncluttered. An expanse of grass leads to the pond, and the house and adjacent screen porch are surrounded with hydrangea. Photography by Antoine Bootz and Marili Forastieri
