NYCxDesign Week

On May 16th, NYCxDesign Week fostered collaboration between The Lincoln Motor Company and TED. Visitors enjoyed live stream TED talks by Moma Design Curator Paola Antonelli, New Yorker Cartoon Editor Bob Mankoff, product designer Ayse Birsel, and Jake Barton of Local Projects: Designing the Stories of a City.

Lincoln also featured their Lincoln Reimagine Project, an effort to fund fresh ideas and projects in arts and design, and has been a big player in cultivating a sense of community for the creative world. Lincoln also launched Driven to Give, a test-drive dealer program that donates to various educational programs and charities.

The Lincoln Reimagine Project currently honors three collaborators: Aurora Robson (Project Vortex), Andy Cavatorta (The Dervishes) and Gilberto Esparza (Auto-photosynthetic plants).
