We’ve featured many luxurious bathtubs on Haute Design Network, but none quite this unique. For those fans of relaxing in a hammock on a nice summer day, it’s now possible to bathe and lounge in a hammock-style tub.

The custom design was recently crafted by British Design Company Splinter Works from carbon fiber, and it's available in black, red, pink, yellow, blue, bronze and silver. Co-founder of Splinter Works Miles Hartwell notes in a recent press release, "Struck by the synergy between the shapes of two compelling symbols of relaxation, a hammock and a bath tub, we were inspired to develop a piece that would provide the ultimate vehicle for total escapism."

Other unique features include the draining of the vessel through a wetroom floor, floor-standing tap, a very limited production of 12 and a hefty pricetag of over $30,000.
